01Who is responsible for your data
Leadex is responsible (the “controller”) for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about privacy, email us at hello@example.com.
02What we collect
We only collect the personal data we need:
- Contact and proposal forms: your name or company name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you are interested in and the project details you share.
- Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages: the information you choose to share when you contact us directly. WhatsApp messages are also processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
- Clients: business contact details, project information and billing details we need to provide our services.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the website secure and working.
- Preferences: if you switch between light and dark mode, we remember your choice in a cookie (see Cookies).
03How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals;
- provide, manage and invoice our services if you become a client;
- keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix problems;
- meet our legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
04Our legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to take steps you ask for before entering a contract, such as preparing a proposal, and to deliver the services we have agreed;
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, run our business and keep the website secure;
- Legal obligation: for example, to keep accounting records;
- Consent: where we ask for it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
07International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside your country. When personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
08How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries are kept for as long as we need to respond and follow up. Client records are kept for the length of our working relationship and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.
09How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls and carefully chosen service providers. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, email us at hello@example.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
